Kelso & Company-backed Novvia Group has acquired APC Packaging, a Fort Lauderdale-based supplier of sustainable packaging for the premium skincare and cosmetics markets. The deal, announced May 19, 2026, marks Novvia's third consumer packaging acquisition in under 18 months and extends its beauty and personal care platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Background
Novvia, a global distributor of rigid containers and life sciences packaging, has pursued an accelerated acquisition strategy since entering the consumer segment. In January 2025, the company acquired Saxco International, a leading rigid packaging provider to the beverage and food industries, simultaneously launching its consumer product distribution division. A second consumer-focused deal followed in May 2025 with the acquisition of Garrett Hewitt International, a Fishkill, New York-based supplier primarily serving the beauty and fragrance markets. APC Packaging represents the third transaction in this strategic sequence.
The consumer packaging distribution market remains fragmented across the beauty sector, with brands sourcing from a diffuse network of specialized suppliers. Consolidators with broad supplier relationships and global manufacturing reach have sought to capture share by offering end-to-end design, engineering, and sourcing capabilities under a single platform.
Details
APC Packaging was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The company develops plastic and glass containers, closures, and other packaging components, working with startups, independent beauty labels, and multinational cosmetics companies. Its sustainability portfolio includes refillable systems, recyclable materials, post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, and responsible sourcing practices-capabilities Novvia cited as central to the deal's strategic rationale.
APC Packaging processes a range of polymers including PP, PE, PET, PETG, PCTA, PCTG copolymers, PMMA, and AS/SAN. PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance LLC served as exclusive financial advisor to APC Packaging in the transaction.
APC Packaging's primary owners, Lisa and Christina Lin, will remain in place to manage day-to-day operations. "We look forward to leveraging Novvia's scale, relationships, and expertise to enhance our product offerings, expand services, and deliver greater value to our customers," said Lisa Lin, according to the company's announcement.
Novvia CEO Bob Boucher described APC as fitting squarely within the company's consumer segment strategy. "We look forward to partnering with Lisa and her team to build on their growth momentum while leveraging the combined strengths of our organisation to scale our beauty packaging platform," Boucher said.
Outlook
The acquisition positions Novvia to consolidate supplier relationships and broaden sustainable packaging options for beauty brands seeking to meet rising demand for recyclable and PCR-content packaging. APC Packaging marks its 20th year of operations in 2026, and the Novvia partnership is expected to accelerate the company's growth while preserving its design and engineering capabilities. Further consolidation moves by Novvia in consumer packaging remain possible, given Kelso & Company's stated focus on fragmented markets with durable growth profiles.
